A minimum of 1500fps impact velocity is required for the hollow point to function as intended.
This bullet has a required twist rate of 1:16" or faster.
These bullets come with Raptor™ tips installed.

Reloaded this in 35 whelen. Shot out to 1000 yds just to see what it would do and held a MOA group. Very effective hunting bullet.
Most accurate bullet for my rifle. I took four deer with them last season, one at 265 yds.
Loaded the .355 diameter version in my 14 year old daughter's 350 legend for her first year of hunting.
Load development was easy enough.
Start at the bottom of the recommended powder range.
Groups were sub MOA.
She managed 2 very large doe and her 1st buck!
Three shots out to 100yds for three deer and the retrievals were a short with pass throughs. These hit hard and examining the would channels during processing revealed the expanded and performed exactly as advertised.
My daughter is hooked on hunting and I on Cutting Edge bullets.
I was so impressed I purchased the .358 diameter version for my 35 Whelen! I'm looking forward to many more memorable hunts with my daughter and Cutting Edge Raptors.
Today, I shot a group with my JES rebored pre-64 M-70 FWT. It started out as a tired .243, sent it to JES in Oregon to open it up to .358 Win. BTW, .358 Win Pre-64 FWT originals are rare. This is a good way to have one.
The gun shoots in the 1-3" range with most loads, isn't a target gun. I was surprised to shoot this near one hole group at a hundred. I have had great results with the 135 ER Raptor in my .308. Check out that report.
I've not yet killed any crditters with the.358, but this load should whack'em very well.
