The 8th annual King of 2 Miles competition was held in Raton, New Mexico from September 22-24th. 69 shooters from all  over the world gathered for the chance to become the next King of 2 Miles. 

The first two days were qualifications, and the top 20% (14 shooters) went on to the finals on Day 3. In the end, 13 of the Final 14 were using Cutting Edge Bullets Lazers.

THE KING

Josh Silby won the title of King along with his spotter Eric Owen. While Josh has been attending matches and honing his spotting skills over the years, this was his first time competing in an ELR event.

 

Josh used his Alamo Precision Rifles built 375 Cheytac paired with our 400gr Lazers to clinch the title. Josh had 1st and 5th round impacts at the 3526 (2 Miles) plate.

 

 

 

 

THE PRINCE

Justin Wolf, defending 2022 King, along with spotter James Archer took the Prince position. Justin was using the New Barrett Firearms built .416 rifle paired with our 500gr Lazers. Justin is the 1st competitor to podium 2 years in a row.

 

 

 

 

THE DUKE

 Ron Endres and spotter Charlie Crouchman rounded out the podium in the Duke position. Ron was using his 37XC Tubb Rifle paired with our 400gr Lazers.

  • Hugues Vogin and spotter Benjamin Ginestes took 4th with his 375 Cheytac and our 400gr Lazers
  • Mark Miller and spotter Chris Jepson took 5th
  • Eric Owen and Spotter Josh Silby took 6th with his Alamo Precision built 375 Cheytac and our 400gr Lazers
  • Alex Cordsman and spotter Brian Wink took 7th with his Vestals Custom built .416 Hellfire paired with our 500gr Lazers. Alex was using Justin Wolf’s 2022 winning rifle!
  • Vincent Shelton and spotter Richie Young took 8th with his VA Silent Arsenal built 416 Hellfire and our 550gr Lazers
  • Jason Greenlee along with his son and spotter Micah Greenlee took 9th with his Alamo Precision built 416 Hellfire and our 550gr Lazers
  • John Beloit and spotter Chad Kinyon took 10th with his Vestals Custom built 416 Hellfire and our 525gr Lazers
  • Gene Nowaczyk and spotter Jeff Parker took 11th with the new Barrett Firearms 416 Barrett and our 500gr Lazers
  • John Brumbaugh and spotter Drew Besonson took 12th with his GA Precision built 416 Barrett and our 550gr Lazers
  • Ronnie Wright and spotter Jay McLean took 13th with the new Barrett Firearms built 416 Barrett and our 500gr Lazers
  • Scott McDermott and spotter Dan Brock rounded out the finalists with his 375 Cheytac and our 400gr Lazers.

Previous KO2M Champions:

We are honored to have 13 of the top 14 shooters using our Lazers in this years match. This officially means that 7 out of 8 of the crowned kings since the matchs' inception have used our bullets.
